^ YES. It’s shitty that he cheated on two wives and left them when they were terminally ill. But it’s politically reprehensible that he would claim to be the “values candidate” who will protect the “sanctity of marriage” after doing it.

No, I do hate him (amongst other things) because he cheated on his two wives and left them when they were terminally ill, and refused to pay child support on top of that. Because my grandfather did the same thing to my grandmother right after she was diagnosed, and not only did it ruin her, I still don’t think my Dad and aunt are over it either.

Hating someone for doing that to their family- especially when, as you said, they’re running for government on a platform of family values- is entirely fucking justifiable, and I will actually punch any idiot within arms’ reach who dares tell me otherwise.
